At the end of July 2020, we were able to commission our new solar plant on the roof of the assembly hall. On most days, the complete solar power is directly consumed by our own basic needs and only very little is fed back into the grid. A big advantage is that we need less electricity from the grid and therefore have lower electricity costs.
On weekends the use of the system is needed to e.g. fill up the heat and cold storage of our new ground water cooling and heating system. Thus, the energy of the solar system can be stored in thermal form.
