Also this August, with four new apprentices in the team, we were allowed to go on the apprentice trip. It was Friday, 14.08.2020 with the hope of good weather. Traditionally, the trip was organized and planned by the final year apprentices.

All apprentices and the apprentice trainers met at the administration building at eight in the morning. First, the car ride took us to Fribourg. This time the morning was planned for an excursion to the largest historic old town in Switzerland. We visited Fribourg's historic center, the bustling old town known for cobbled streets, the Fribourg Bächle and well-preserved medieval city gates. We were able to enjoy the sights from different eras of the city in beautiful weather. We split up and so all interests could be satiated.

Later, just before lunch time, we went to the Pizzeria De Pérolles. Strengthened by a good pizza or a fine plate of spaghetti, the journey could continue. The weather became more and more beautiful wherever we went. So the afternoon led us to the lido of Estavayer-le-lac. There everyone could decide for himself how he wanted to enjoy his stay. Whether to do a few laps on the banana boat, to ride the pedalo or just to enjoy the beautiful weather, there was something for everyone. One ice cream later at 5:00 p.m., we met up again and headed home. And so the two buses, with which the trip was managed, drove back again and we moved with good humor, towards the weekend.
